Ubisoft showed off the new protagonist of Far Cry 6, Dani Rojas, and the gameplay systems, both new and old, incoming in the new entry. The once delayed game is now set to launch in October.
As the pre-E3 reveals continue, Ubisoft gave a look at Far Cry 6 gameplay for the first time today as promised. So far, we had only seen a cinematic trailer, but today’s footage showed a good chunk of the upcoming action game’s mechanics. It is very much a Far Cry entry, featuring another unforgiving open world, brutal combat, and a toolset tailormade for generating over-the-top action sequences. The first trailer, seen above, introduced us to the protagonist Dani Rojas, a «modern guerrilla» that will be going up against the military force of Yara’s dictator Antón Castillo (played by Giancarlo Esposito).
