Intel has announced two new i7, i5 chips for laptops under its 11th Gen U-series. Manufacturers are expected to launch laptops with the new chips later this year.
Intel has expanded its 11th-gen U-series processor lineup with the launch of Core i7 and i5 chips. The new processors will feature in thin and lightweight laptops later this year. They are based on the company’s Evo platforms and come with integrated Iris Xe graphics. The new processors also come with WiFi 6 support and up to 25 per cent performance improvements. The company also claims that its new processors can deliver up to 8x faster transcoding and up to double the video editing speed. Manufacturers like Acer, ASUS, MSI and Lenovo are expected to launch new laptops with i5 and i7 processors later this year.
