“The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard” Rated R. At the AMC Boston Common, AMC South Bay, Regal Fenway and suburban theaters. Grade: C+ The title “The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard” is a mouthful. The film, which amounts to almost nothing, is one of those unnecessary sequels. It is once again a violent, James Bond movie parody, featuring European locations and a Greek super-villain played by Antonio Banderas. The film again features the mismatched-buddy, comic team of fast-quipping, sharp-shooting bodyguard Michael Bryce (Ryan Reynolds doing Deadpool out of costume) and mercurial hitman Darius Kincaid (Samuel L. Jackson). Also back are Aussie director Patrick Hughes (“The Expendables 3”), screenwriter Tom O’Connor, who shares the credits with Brandon Murphy and Phillip Murphy and whose solo work on last year’s “The Courier” was a grade above this dim stuff. Also returning are Salma Hayek as Kincaid’s sexy, equally angry and even more dangerous wife Sonia and in a throwaway bit Richard E.
