» The View » co-host Meghan McCain flamed the family of Britney Spears on Thursday, slamming them over treatment the pop star has allegedly endured during the 13-year conservatorship from her father, Jamie Spears. While discussing the conservatorship with her co-hosts, McCain referred to Spears’ family as «monsters,» accused them of not doing enough to stop the «abuse» she was experiencing, and expressed her hope that Spears «never speaks to any of them again.» «I want her to live the way she should be allowed to live, and should have been allowed to live for the past 13 years, being able to be in control of her money, her body, her life,» McCain said after co-host Whoopi Goldberg asked what she hoped would come out of the legal situation.
