Just last month, McCain lashed out at The View anchor Whoopi Goldberg over a press conference in which President Biden tore into a reporter. Even though Biden apologized, McCain accused him of “Trump-y” behavior — Goldberg did not agree. McCain began the spat when Goldberg attempted to shut her argument down. Goldberg lost her patience with McCain, exclaiming, “I don’t care that you don’t care, just hear what I’m saying!” McCain snapped back, “Well I don’t care that you don’t care, Whoopi, so we’re even,” rolling her eyes. Oh God, I better stop voting for them now,’” she asked. “I mean really, the same way I have no influence on the left,” McCain said as Behar began to talk over her. The pair continued to yell at each other, and the fight only concluded when Goldberg cut to commercial. “You saying that the Republican party is trash, I don’t care. It’s not revelatory,” McCain said in her final statement. “Who cares, you say it every single day.
