Tropical Storm Elsa continues to move through the Caribbean, and is expected to bring tropical storm conditions to Cuba and Jamaica Sunday. Elsa has maximum sustained winds of 65 mph, according to an advisory issued at 8 a.m. from the National Hurricane Center. Some weakening is forecast as Elsa moves over Cuba on Sunday. A decrease in forward motion is expected before the storm turns to the northwest and heads into the Florida Straits on Monday. Elsa is forecast to approach the western coast of Florida on Tuesday.
