The much-awaited iPhone 13 is not too far away from launch. We have learnt that the smartphone will arrive in the third week of September. While there’s a lot that we already know about the upcoming iPhone, fresh leaks keep popping up every now and then. A new report says that Apple is working with more Chinese suppliers to ramp up the production of iPhone 13 models. According to the report, Luxshare Precision Industry will build 3 per cent of the iPhones. Whereas some other manufacturers will supply the key components. Also, Apple is looking to address battery life issues on the upcoming iPhones. This will be achieved by including smaller components, which will, in turn, leave some space for a bigger battery. Besides this, iPhone 13 is supposed to follow the same design language as the current lineup, with a few changes here and there. Most important of all being the introduction of a trimmed down a notch. Now that you have a brief idea of the expected changes let’s talk about the iPhone 13 in detail. —The next-gen iPhone’s are currently in production and are slated to arrive in the third week of production. Apple plans to produce a total of 95 million units this year. To ramp up production, Apple is approaching more Chinese suppliers, despite the trade ban. Now that’s completely contrary to the reports which suggested that Apple is moving its supply chain out of China. —As per Nikkei Japan, Chinese electronics maker Luxshare Precision Industry is set to produce 3 per cent of the iPhone 13 models for the first time. Lens Tech will supply metal casings, and Sunny Optical Tech Group will produce rear camera lenses. Apart from this, BOE has reportedly begun developing displays for the upcoming iPhones. —In another new report, DigiTimes claims that iPhone 13 might get a battery upgrade without needing a bigger chassis.
