Dev Channel members can now play around with updates to the Snipping Tool, Calculator, Mail, and Calendar apps for Windows 11.
Microsoft is rolling out updates to several of Windows 11’s built-in apps—the Snipping Tool, Calculator, Mail, and Calendar—to Dev Channel members of the Windows Insider Program. The company bills Snipping Tool as a new app that replaces both the old Snipping Tool and the Snip & Sketch apps to offer «the next evolution of screen capture for Windows.» That evolution introduces a dedicated settings page; quick access to capture presets such as windowed, rectangular, etc.
