PlayStation owners will get to play the game for the first time.
Sam Lake, Creative Director at Remedy Entertainment, has confirmed that Alan Wake Remastered is nearly complete and will launch on PC and consoles before the end of 2021. Lake decided it would be more fitting to make the announcement via the Alan Wake/Remedy fansite The Sudden Stop because, «The Remedy community wouldn’t be what it is today» without the site. In the post, he confirmed that the remaster will include updated visuals, which can be interpreted as meaning we’ll be playing the game in 4K with the right hardware.
