Is it time to start singing holiday tunes yet? The Roku Channel says so, and they’ve got a great gift to go along with the jingles: Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist is officially coming back. The original cast of the canceled NBC series will return for a feature-length holiday film, Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas, the very first movie announced for the Roku Channel. All that’s left to decide are what songs Zoey and her crew will break into this holiday season. Production for Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas will begin in Vancouver this month, and will eventually air on The Roku Channel exclusively and for free in the U.S. All 25 episodes of the musical rom-com series will be available to stream for free on The Roku Channel in the later this fall, too. “I am so extremely grateful to The Roku Channel for helping us get Zoey to sing again,” creator Austin Winsberg said in a statement.
