Mojang Studios is planning to launch the Minecraft Caves & Cliffs: Part II later this year with world generation overhauls, but it’s also working on the next major update coming after that. Announced during the Minecraft Live conference, The Wild update carries new and updated biomes, new critters and blocks, plus more. The previously announced Deep Dark for the Caves & Cliffs Update is now part of The Wild, and it offers players ancient cities to explore while avoiding eyeless mobs like the new sound-chasing Warden mini-bosses and the shrieking Skulkers.
