Up from the standard 500 MB offered to all users
The adoption of ProtonMail has increased in the last few years for obvious reasons, but on the other hand, not everybody is a big fan of the storage limitations the service comes with. The 500 MB offered by default means users always need to keep an eye on their storage, and it goes without saying the parent company too knows this is quite a drawback. The good news is that ProtonMail is now giving its users the opportunity to upgrade their maximum storage from the typical 500 MB to 1 GB, all without paying a single cent. The only thing they need to do is to just complete a series of tasks, with the 1 GB upgrade to then be enabled all automatically.
