AMD has confirmed that some Ryzen CPUs can stutter when the fTPM module onboard the chip is activated. The company is working on a fix, but it won’t arrive until “early May” or possibly later, depending on the motherboard vendor, AMD said in a new support document. For months, AMD users have reported stuttering problems that can temporarily slow down a PC for a few seconds. This can occur while running a video or playing a game, as the clips below show.
