Disney has announced a new ad-supported plan called Disney+ Basic. Along with this, it has also hiked the price of premium plan.
Disney+ will release the much anticipated ad-supported subscription offering in the U.S on December 8, 2022. The company has recently confirmed the same via a blog post. In addition to the new ad-supported subscription, which will offer more choice to consumers than ever before, the company is also increasing the monthly subscription fee for Disney+.
With the introduction of a new ad-supported plan, the plans will be made available across Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and the Disney Bundle, giving users flexibility in choosing an option that suits their needs. As of now, Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ feature over 1,00,000 movie titles, TV episodes, original shows, sports and live events collectively.
