Former U.S. attorney and legal analyst, Barbara McQuade, criticized former President Donald Trump’s lawyer Lindsey Halligan on Sunday about a claim she made earlier this week about the FBI’s Mar-a-Lago search warrant affidavit.
«We want to review the affidavit for ourselves. They are very selective in terms of what they want out there and we definitely want to know what they’re claiming they have as evidence. So, their withholding of information is essentially controlling the flow of information and that is the first step to tyranny,» she said.
However, McQuade pushed back against Halligan’s remarks on Twitter and tweeted that «search warrant affidavits are sealed in every case until after charges are filed.
