Week 5 of Iowa high school football was filled with blowouts. As a result, Week 5 was also filled with insane stat lines.
The numbers piled up across the entire state, with many of Iowa’s top high school football teams getting right via cruise-control victories. There were a few close affairs, too, and numerous stars there as well.

There’s having a strong night, and then there’s what the junior standout did in Friday’s 39-0 win over Knoxville. Hayes rumbled for 433 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries to ignite the blowout win.
The punishing back was everywhere in Roland-Story’s 24-14 win over Chariton, piling up 220 rushing yards and two touchdowns as the Norsemen improved to 3-2.
