On Wednesday, Germany announced it would initially send 14 of its Leopard 2 tanks from its military supply after weeks of pressure to do so, reports Reuters. Until now, Chancellor Olaf Scholz had hedged, as it didn’t want to do anything to trigger Russia to escalate its attacks or drag other countries into the war.
