Xiaomi might be working on an Helio P35-powered variant of the Redmi A1. The handset is codenamed water and has model number 23036RN54G.
Xiaomi, a few months ago, introduced a new A lineup under the Redmi brand and launched the Redmi A1 and the Redmi A1+ smartphones. The Redmi A1 and Redmi A1+ are entry-level smartphones and are aimed at first-time smartphone buyers. The Redmi A1 series smartphones make use of a MediaTek Helio A22 processor which is quite basic. Xiaomi might be planning to fix this shortcoming and the company might replace the Helio A22 with the Helio P35 in an upcoming version of Redmi A1, as per Xiaomiui.
