Meeting notes, task lists, timeline markers, speaker markers, and live translations are all handled automatically by artificial intelligence if you’re willing to pay.
Microsoft rolled out Teams Premium late yesterday, which offers a range of AI-powered meeting features in return for $10 per user per month.
Microsoft believes some of its customers will pay for more advanced meeting capabilities than are currently available in Teams. With that in mind, Teams Premium introduces a number of new features that rely heavily on the use of artificial intelligence.
Using OpenAI’s GPT-3.5, the same language model used for ChatGPT, Microsoft is turning a number of meeting-related tasks into automatic processes under the heading of «intelligent recap.» Teams Premium subscribers will get automatically-generated meeting notes, recommended tasks, and personalized highlights created for them as part of the service.
