The itel P40 launches across Africa with an enormous battery and fast charging for less than $100

That makes the P40 one of the most practical phones on the market right now at any price. Take the battery – with a huge 6000mAh capacity, the P40’s battery can last up to three days from a single charge with typical use. If you use your handset less often, it can run for over two weeks on standby mode, so you’re always ready to receive a call.
The 6000mAh battery here isn’t just bigger than on other affordable phones like the Samsung Galaxy A03 or Redmi 10A, both of which use smaller 5000mAh cells. It’s also a larger battery than you’ll find on flagship phones, meaning you could spend ten times the price of the P40 and still get worse battery life.
