In Destiny 2, female characters play a key role in the narrative of the game. Whether these female characters are Guardians, of a whole other species, or villainous, they have remained memorable for a good reason. Destiny 2 has featured characters from a range of representations with more surely to come in this first-person shooter.

The best female characters in Destiny 2 have their strengths. Some harbor great skill and intellect, and others may hold a great power yet to be wielded against Light or Dark. What’s worth noting is that Destiny 2 strives to bring complex and well-written female characters into the game through its continuing story.
She may not be a Guardian, but that does not stop Amanda Holliday from embarking on dangerous missions to assist other humans across the EDZ. Amanda had a hard childhood and she lost both her parents on her way to the Last City. However, she came out stronger for it, and dedicated her life to being a Guardian, just without the immortality gifted by the Traveler.
Amanda was a talented shipwright and an even better pilot. Her personality could shine through any situation and Guardians always knew they were safe when Amanda Holliday was watching the skies. After her tragic sacrifice, many fans hope Amanda Holliday is resurrected as a Guardian.
With an Empress leading the mighty Cabal, a new era is forged for the warmongering race due to Caital’s commitment to eradicating the forces of Darkness and the Hive. Caital shares a common goal with humanity and has since allied with the Guardians. Both factions are committed to fighting the Witness. Caital has proved her alliance holds on many occasions.
Empress Caital is brave, fierce, and certainly, someone that Guardians would not want to mess with, even if they had the best glaive in Destiny 2. She’s hulking in size and battle experience, and her battle cries of “eating the mountains” and “drinking the seas” shows just how great a fit of a leader she is for the Cabal, even with her father being the exiled emperor Calus.
As a Titan Guardian, Sloane served the Vanguard with a sworn allegiance to Commander Zavala. She was vital during the Red War, in which she helped secure the moon of Titan from the Hive, without Light, and created an outpost for the Vanguard. Sloane is trusting, commanding, and a great ally that needs to return to Destiny 2.
