Epic Games has released early patch notes for Fortnite 24.40, the latest update set to bring significant changes to the beloved Battle Royale game.
In a significant change to the competitive landscape of Fortnite, the existing Arena mode will be replaced with a new Ranked mode. Players can compete and rise through various ranks, including Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Elite, Champion, and Unreal. This is part of the first Ranked season, known as Season Zero. In this system, players can enable Ranked mode and work their way up through various ranks, starting from Bronze and going all the way up to Unreal. The system spans across:

With the introduction of Ranked Mode, the Arena Mode will be discontinued.
