Jennifer Lopez might have her mom to thank for her marriage to Ben Affleck.
After breaking off their engagement in 2004, the Hollywood sweethearts rekindled their romance in 2021 and tied the knot last summer. Lopez’s mom, Guadalupe Rodríguez, takes credit for the reunion.
“I knew that you would always get back together because I prayed for 20 years,” Rodríguez said on the “Today” show Wednesday, in a brief appearance at the end of Lopez’s interview.
Lopez, 53, playfully rolled her eyes about her mom’s declaration, but spoke effusively about Affleck in her sit-down with Hoda Kotb.
