Like clockwork, Giovanni is back in Pokemon GO for May 2023, and players will need to bring a well-chosen team to take on his powerful Pokemon.
With May arriving, Pokemon GO fans have a new slate of limited time events coming to the popular mobile title. New quest lines have appeared, tasking players with performing a number of different actions within the game while also adding new Pokemon into the game like Larvesta and Volcarona. Naturally, players can also participate in LTM events like Community Day, which is placing the spotlight on the Fire Fox known as Fennekin.
In addition, players will also be able to challenge the ever present enemy squad known as Team GO Rocket. Occupying the sky in their hot air balloon, as well as various PokeStops, players can collect Rocket Radars to challenge group leadership, ultimately leading to the big prize: a battle with Pokemon series villain Giovanni. These battles are a great way for players to earn some powerful attacking Shadow Pokemon as well.

As expected, Giovanni is once again invading Pokemon GO and players can take him on one they get their hands on a Super Rocket Radar.
