Hulu announced The Futurama reboot release date. The streaming service also released a new Futurama teaser trailer, giving fans their first glimpse at Fry, Leela, and Bender’s next adventures.
Futurama initially ran on FOX from 1999 to 2003 before being revived by Comedy Central from 2009 to 2013. The animated series follows Philip J. Fry, a pizza delivery boy from 1999 who accidentally becomes cryogenically preserved for 1000 years and wakes up in 2999. Fry takes a job as a delivery boy for the interplanetary delivery company Planet Express, prompting several misadventures with co-workers Turanga Leela (Captain of the Planet Express ship), a surly robot named Bender, and more.

In early 2022, Hulu announced plans to revive Futurama with original creators Matt Groening and David X.
