AMD’s Navi 32 GPU was accidentally leaked in a video published by Forbes which showed a slightly more compact GPU package housing the Navi 32 GCD and four MCDs. Now we have new pictures of the same package but this time, instead of using the Navi 32 design, the chip houses a Navi 31 GPU.
In a picture leaked by Moore’s Law is Dead, we can see that the same package seen in the Navi 32 GPU leak houses the Navi 31 GPU. The Navi 31 GCD can be seen in the middle which measures the same 304.35mm2 and the six MCDs for a 529mm2 die size. But the main difference is that the Navi 31 GPU is fitted within a much more compact package measuring just 40x40mm whereas the stock Navi 31 package measures 55×47.
