Keeping enemies just out of reach and trapping them in a zone of inescapable death is one of the best ways to play the Rogue in Diablo 4.
There are many playstyles for the Rogue in Diablo 4, most of which revolve around ranged and melee weapons. It makes sense to choose between these two styles. Traps are often the support role for these types of attacks and set up big hits or apply debuffs.
But there is an unorthodox build for a Trap Rogue that works marvelously well. With the right rotation, enemies will be permanently slowed and have the Vulnerable debuff. Diablo 4 gives gamers several ways to play the game but this can be the most fun and deadly way to taunt enemies as they helplessly meander through traps.

Many guides have remained untouched because most skills got a simple numerical buff or nerf to bring them in line with the rest of the skills in the game. Especially with Vulnerable builds becoming so powerful, this was an appropriate rebalance. However, not every skill received a small buff or nerf. Some of these were significant enough to change builds for and this build was one of those. Some of these buffs weren’t to damage but to cooldown or resource reduction which alters the skill rotation entirely.
