During Summer 2023, dozens of anime will be airing on Crunchyroll, HIDIVE, and other streaming platforms.
Running from the beginning of July to the end of September, the Summer 2023 anime lineup contains over 40 new or returning series. During this season, more than 400 episodes will stream on a variety of platforms, specifically Crunchyroll, HIDIVE, Hulu, and Netflix. While perhaps not as stacked with massive projects as Spring, Summer still has an exciting selection of shows, including sequels to Jujutsu Kaisen, Mushoku Tensei, Bleach, Horimiya, and Bungo Stray Dogs.
As has become tradition, if someone wants to watch every Summer 2023 anime, they will need to pick up a few different subscriptions. Even then, certain shows will not officially release on Western platforms, making it technically impossible for North American fans to watch everything. Unsurprisingly, Crunchyroll has the largest Summer 2023 anime lineup, and by quite a margin. The service is leaning heavily into new shows, although it has a couple of returning heavyweights as well. Before the season officially starts, Crunchyroll is likely to announce a few more series.
