Samsung has launched the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Astro Edition, a limited edition watch that honors ancient astronomers.
Samsung has launched a special version of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The Astro Edition is a customized 47mm Bluetooth version of the watch. It is inspired by the astrolabe, an astronomical instrument of the ancient times. Samsung says this watch aims to “bridge the past with the future and honor the groundwork laid by historical pioneers” of astronomy.
The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Astro Edition features a “Black Astro” bezel that depicts various heavenly bodies, such as stars and constellations. Samsung has also customized the software to add astrolabe features and watch faces. The dial comes with a unique compass reminiscent of the ancient device. This watch can also track the movements of the sun and moon. It can show solar and lunar phases as well.
