The New York Jets host the New England Patriots Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
Jets fans have not enjoyed watching left tackle Duane Brown in the first two weeks of the season.
Now, they are going to get to see his backup.
Brown was ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Patriots.
He did not practice this week due to a hip injury, but coach Robert Saleh expressed optimism all week that Brown would play.
Saleh did say on Friday that Brown was getting his hip checked out.
That must have not gone well, because he was ruled out Saturday afternoon.
Saleh was coy about his plans for who would play left tackle if Brown could not.
