For a lot of gamers keeping up with the latest industry news and trends, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) was one of the go-to events of the year, filled to the brim with new product launches. Everything from consoles to games were present with each convention, with developers and studios taking to stage (or via booth) to show off their latest work.
More recently however, the Entertainment Software Assocation (ESA) announced that E3 will be permanently cancelled, ending hopes of a possible return after E3 2023 was likewise cancelled several months ago.
