As the group kicks off their latest era, the lead singer, Jon Bon Jovi, recently spoke about how this latest chapter is all about the upbeat and the happy—something he could really use at this time.
“The overarching sentiment of this album is that of joy,” Bon Jovi said to Ultimate Classic Rock. He then asked himself, “How did I get to joy?,” and answered his own query: “I had to work through a lot of dark misery!”
Bon Jovi’s new album is called, simply, Forever. It was announced alongside the single “Legendary,” which is decidedly joyful, as the singer states.
