The 12-person jury assigned to former President Donald Trump’s hush money case has made a list of requests to Judge Juan Merchan as deliberations in the case begin.
According to Newsweek’s Katherine Fung, who was inside the courtroom Wednesday, the jury’s foreperson sent a handwritten note to Merchan at 2:56 p.m. EST with four different requests, including to rehear parts of testimony from prosecutor’s first witness, David Pecker, the former publisher of the National Enquirer.
Jurors are asking to be reread Pecker’s testimony regarding a phone call conversation he had with Trump while Pecker was in an investor meeting in New Jersey.
