Donations are flowing into former President Donald Trump’s election campaign in the aftermath of a jury in New York City finding him guilty on 34 felony counts.
On Friday, the Trump campaign said in a statement it nearly doubled its best single-day fundraising haul, bringing in $34.8 million.
“Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrats with their election interference political witch hunt have awakened the MAGA movement like never before,” the statement added.
Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles, senior advisers to the Trump campaign, said, “From just minutes after the sham trial verdict was announced, our digital fundraising system was overwhelmed with support, and despite temporary delays online because of the amount of traffic, President Trump raised $34.
