The ‘iPhone Mirroring’ function will allow users to view and control a connected iPhone using a Mac’s trackpad and keyboard. Plus, expect a Password app and the debut of Apple Intelligence.
With its next version of macOS, Apple is working on the operating system’s ability to connect and control your iPhone.
At WWDC today, Apple introduced macOS Sequoia, and one of the standout functions will be iPhone mirroring for macOS’s Continuity feature. This will allow you to view and control your iPhone on a Mac. Just click the iPhone Mirroring icon, and a window will appear showing a real-time view of an iPhone’s home screen.
“I can fully interact with it, all wirelessly,” Apple SVP of Software Engineering Craig Federighi said. “And I can use my phone normally, like swiping through pages of my home screen. ”
Users can open and interact with their iPhone apps using their Mac’s trackpad and keyboard.
