As Trump and his supporters stood outside in the desert heat, with temperatures reaching above 100 degrees, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee complained about the defectiveness of the teleprompters from which he reads his speeches from.
«Just in case you were wondering, I got no teleprompters and I haven’t from the beginning,» the former president said. «You know I pay all this money to teleprompter people, and I’d say 20 percent of the time they don’t work, they don’t work. The thing’s waving around. They can’t tie it a little bit tighter?»
President Joe Biden’s campaign shared a clip of Trump’s complaint on X, formerly Twitter, and wrote: «Trump complains about having to pay workers because his teleprompter doesn’t work.
