Prosecutors seek to match Biden’s voice to a video of a man weighing cocaine
Prosecutors will ask jurors to match Hunter Biden’s voice on his audiobook memoir with a video of him allegedly weighing crack cocaine.
President Joe Biden’s son claims it is not his voice in the video of a man talking to a woman while weighing crack.
His lawyers are seeking to suppress the video, along with several photos and text messages that allegedly prove that he was using crack cocaine at the time that he purchased a gun in October 2018.
Biden has pleaded not guilty to charges of making false statements on a federal form while purchasing a firearm in October 2018 and of illegal gun possession while being a drug user, specifically of crack cocaine.
He is the first offspring of a sitting president to go on criminal trial.
A jury was chosen at a Delaware court on Monday and opening statements are expected on Tuesday.
