Prince William is «pleased» to see Princess Kate reengaging with her work as she prepares to make her first major public appearance on Saturday since her cancer diagnosis earlier this year, Kensington Palace has announced.
In a statement on Tuesday, Kate thanked the public for their support during cancer treatment, adding: «I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer.»
She added the caveat that she remains conscious of the fact that she is «not out of the woods yet.»
In response, Prince William will continue to support his wife and family at this challenging time.
«The Prince is pleased to see The Princess starting to engage with the work and projects that are important to her», a Kensington Palace spokesperson said on Friday.
