Samsung is now rolling out the August 2024 update to the carrier-free Galaxy S24 and carrier-locked Galaxy S23 series in the US.
Recently, Samsung started rolling out the August patch to eligible devices. The company has already sent out the update to the carrier-locked Galaxy S24 series in the US, first to AT&T users. Now, the factory-unlocked version of the Galaxy S24 series in the US is receiving the August 2024 update. In both cases, this is a minor incremental update with only security fixes. This may be disappointing for owners of the Galaxy S24 series, since they were waiting for some serious camera improvements.
