We all know video streaming has gained in popularity in recent years, but what you might not realize is that more than half of every dollar spent now in the entertainment category goes to streaming apps. They’re that popular, according to the 2024 Streaming App Industry Report by App Figures released earlier this week.
According to the report, streaming video apps are currently downloaded more than 100 million times every quarter. However, that large number is likely due to new services launching rather than Netflix downloads.
