A Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 player found themselves in a truly bizarre situation while attempting to play the game’s Zombies mode, being attacked by both zombies and other NPCs. A clip of the incident shows the moments the player was hunted and gunned down by what are supposed to be «friendly» NPCs for seemingly no reason, effectively leaving solo play broken in Black Ops 4.
Over a decade later, Call of Duty Zombies continues to be one of the most popular and celebrated game modes in history. Originally intended as a small Easter egg bonus mode for the end of Call of Duty: World at War in 2008, Call of Duty’s Zombies mode transformed and evolved into the deep, complex survival experience players now know and love.
