Steam’s concurrent player record has been broken again. The newest data shows that the platform managed to attract over 37 million users over the weekend, breaking the previous record of 36 million users set five months ago. It’s no surprise that Steam has had such huge activity recently, given the hype in the gaming industry following Gamescom 2024 and the release of the highly anticipated Black Myth: Wukong.
New data from SteamDB shows that the platform has now seen a peak concurrent player count of 37.
