Taylor Swift on Wednesday publicly addressed the three concerts that were canceled in Vienna after authorities said they foiled a , saying that having to call off the performances was «devastating.»
«The reason for the filled me with a new sense of fear, and a tremendous amount of guilt because so many people had planned on coming to those shows», Swift wrote on Instagram following the conclusion of the European leg of her Eras Tour. «But I was also so grateful to the authorities because thanks to them, we were grieving concerts and not lives.»
Three sold-out shows at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium were abruptly canceled earlier this month following the arrest of two teenagers who were allegedly planning a terrorist attack outside the venue, according to Austrian authorities.
