Chief Executive of Telegram was arrested out of the Paris airport by authorities who believe that the messaging app runs without any check or balance
In a thoroughly shocking move, Pavel Durov, the founder and CEO of Telegram, was apprehended by the French authorities outside of the Paris airport shortly after getting off of his private jet. The Chief Executive was arrested due to an ongoing investigation revolving around the messaging platform’s lack of moderation, which allows for complete anonymity but also encourages crimes and other nefarious activities to go unchecked.French authorities strongly believe that Telegram’s negligence of moderation has allowed criminal activity to go rampant on the app
