A sixth season of “Yellowstone” is not yet confirmed, though Puck News, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline reported Paramount is in negotiations for an additional season led by Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser.
In the series, Reilly’s character Beth Dutton is the daughter of ranch owner John Dutton III, played by Kevin Costner, who exited the series following reports of scheduling conflicts between “Yellowstone” and his “Horizon” film series.
Reilly and Hauser had been in negotiations for months, Deadline reported, which were initially thought to be for a “Yellowstone” spinoff.
Paramount had previously announced in May 2023 that “Yellowstone” would end with season five, and announced an upcoming sequel series, which was then untitled but is now called “The Madison,” at the same time.
