The dubious apology was first reported by BuzzFeed, citing Elmasri, who was described as her manager. The apology noted that the singer made her comments “based on misinformation.”
Elmasri is credited on IMDB as a producer on the documentary “Janet Jackson: Family First,” which followed her on her recent “Together Again” tour and was reportedly produced in collaboration with the singer and her brother Randy.
