San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk was carted to the locker room after suffering a leg injury in their game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Quarterback Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers are currently involved in a highly-anticipated Super Bowl rematch against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Unfortunately, things don’t seem to be going well for San Francisco.
Not only are the 49ers losing 14-6 at the half, but they have also lost one of their most well-known players.
In the second quarter, Aiyuk appeared to land awkwardly after making his second reception of the game.
According to Nick Wagoner of ESPN, Aiyuk was «able to slowly walk off and head straight to blue tent. Seems to be favoring right leg.»
Aiyuk was later seen heading to the locker room while sitting on a cart.
Aiyuk wasn’t the only player who left the 49ers-Chiefs game early.
