Four people were killed in the strike in Ukraine’s fourth-largest city, among them a woman and her daughter.
A woman and her daughter were among those killed in a Russian missile strike on a hospital in Ukraine that treated wounded soldiers, authorities said, as Moscow continued its bombardment of the country.
Russia has stepped up missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian sites, targeting both civilian and energy infrastructure, putting pressure on Kyiv as the war again enters the winter months.
In the latest attack, a Russian strike damaged residential buildings and the Mechnikov Hospital in the central-eastern city of Dnipro, which is the country’s fourth largest, killing at least four and injuring 20, reports said.
Ukrainian troops suffering from serious injuries were brought to the hospital from the front line, located about 120 miles away. Friday’s attack also damaged 13 apartment buildings and two houses.
