Larry Krasner has requested additional security in court after alleging Elon Musk incited political violence against him online.
Philadelphia’s district attorney, who is leading a lawsuit against Elon Musk after the billionaire gave voters $1 million payments, has asked for additional security, alleging that Musk sparked an «avalanche» of abuse online.
On Monday, District Attorney Larry Krasner filed a lawsuit against Musk to halt his payments to registered voters in swing states. Krasner called the daily monetary giveaway an «illegal lottery», and his lawsuit followed the Department of Justice’s statement that the sweepstakes «might violate federal election law.»
On Wednesday, attorneys for Krasner asked the court to enhance security for a hearing on November 1, alleging that Musk incited violence against the district attorney on social media, court documents showed.
