The Feast Of The Winter Star is a yearly event in Stardew Valley that takes place on Winter 25 and includes a secret gift exchange. A week before the event, Lewis will send the player a letter informing them which villager they have been assigned to get a gift for. The highest-value item that can be inside a Magma Geode is Star Shards, which can be sold for 500g each. However, the chances of all five geodes containing Star Shards are very slim. In that case, there are many other useful materials that come from Magma Geodes.
For example, magma geodes can produce several items needed for crafting, such as the Dwarf Gadget and Fire Quartz. Fire Quartz can also be used in the Community Center Geologist’s bundle.
